Dinurrem is owned and operated by Oliver and his father, who in 2019 chose to revolutionize the watch strap market in Denmark. With a great passion for watches and quality, they quickly discovered a market lacking the latter. The watch strap market for Apple Watch is characterized by cheap replica products and a lack of quality. Therefore, they founded Dinurrem, which today sells watch straps of the highest quality, with a 5+ year warranty to Danish buyers who want a durable watch strap at an affordable price.
316L Stainless steel and Titanium
A large part of the story behind Dinurrem revolves around material selection, where Oliver and his father carefully chose to sell watch straps made primarily from 316L Stainless Steel and Titanium.
If you know a bit about materials for jewelry and accessories, you'll know that both 316L Stainless Steel and Titanium are NOT standard materials. These are carefully selected metals that can withstand almost anything you put them through. Furthermore, the materials are waterproof, rust-proof, lightweight, and extremely strong, making them perfectly suited for watch straps. That's what we call quality.
The Founder's Story
DinUrrem.dk was founded by Oliver, who in 2019 reached a wall of boredom with the watch straps available for Apple Watch. He couldn't understand why something as visible and personal as a watch had to feel... mass-produced and indifferent.
So he started to geek out.
It started very practically:
Late nights. Coffee cups everywhere. An Apple Watch on the table. And a stubborn belief that it had to be possible to do better.
He began testing materials, suppliers, buckles, magnetic systems, surface treatments. Money, time, and patience went out the window along the way. The first samples were too stiff. Then too soft. Then too cheap. Then almost perfect. But "almost" wasn't good enough.
Gradually, friends, family, and later customers began to ask:
"Where did you get that strap?"
And that's how an idea from 2019 gradually became a brand:
DinUrrem.dk – straps created for people who don't want to look like everyone else.
Oliver has since had one basic rule:
If he wouldn't wear the strap himself every day, it doesn't make it into the assortment.
The future
We're not stopping here. We're constantly expanding our product range, improving our designs, and listening to those of you who use our straps every day. Our goal is to become the leading brand for premium smartwatch straps in Denmark and globally.
